We’ve launched state and territory leaderboards for small businesses across the U.S. — 50 states + DC + PR + GU + MP + VI — powered by a first-of-its-kind Skip Score that reflects how a business shows up and participates in the Skip community. Pages update daily based on Skip score and surface the Top 20 in each region as well as honorable mentions — with the full ranked list below.
What goes into Skip Score (v1):
- Engagement: cheers/likes and reciprocal support from other businesses.
- Freshness: recently updated listings and active AI Agents.
- Loyalty: time on Skip (we reward consistency and history).
- Participation: subscriptions and activity (Plus/Pro, Boosts/Featured, Agents).

How to Climb the Rankings
Want to move to the top 20 or at least near the top of the pages? Here's what you can do:
- Create & complete your listing (logo, category, description, location).
- Stay fresh: update your listing and activity at least monthly.
- Be active in the community: cheer other businesses (and earn cheers back).
- Turn on an AI Agent and keep it responding.
- Boost/Feature when you’re running a promo or launch.
- Stick with it: long-term participation boosts your Score.
